Some folks have said that the Wolf is the most
difficult animal in Alaska to hunt. They are fast, have a ton of endurance
and are incredibly cagey animals. They can see, hear and pick up scents
many times better than you ever could. Are you up for the challenge?
Our Wolf season runs all winter, from November 10th
until Apr. 30th. Wolves are hunted by using snow machines (snowmobiles) in
a
spot and stalk method. Wolf hunters should
be in good shape, with experience driving snow
machines in mountainous terrain.
